Course Description: This course offers a comprehensive discussion of water treatment processes, their uses, characteristics, and calculations. It is designed to teach the skills and knowledge that you will need to know as a Level 2 operator. This course builds upon your learning from the Level 1 course by focusing on analysis and problem–solving for conventional treatment processes, as well as introducing concepts for advanced treatment processes.
This course takes into consideration the Association Board of Certification Need-to-Know Criteria for water treatment operators.

Note: AWWA’s Water Treatment Operator courses are designed to be taken in sequential order. Consider taking Water Treatment Operator Level 1 before this course if you have not already.

It is the individual's responsibility, before registering for any continuing education credit program, to contact the appropriate licensing agency.
CA Students registering for this course can use the credits for Renewing Existing licenses only.The training credits cannot be used to sit for the exam to obtain a license.
