Course Description: This course focuses on data management and provides attendees with an overview of information management technologies, system interfaces, network components, dashboards, and report generation. You will discuss and compare management systems, applications for collecting and managing performance data, and methods available for securely storing information online.
This course takes into consideration the Association Board of Certification Need-to-Know Criteria for water treatment operators.

Learning Objectives:

Describe the applications available for collecting and managing performance data

Discuss the fundamentals of an asset management system

Compare the functions of a document management system

Discuss the benefits and disadvantages of in-house and hosted applications

Compare the methods available for storing information online securely
Learning Elements: pre-recorded presentations, online learning activities, videos, quizzes, discussion boards, weekly tests, and homework assignments.
Requirements:

Minimum of four hours of online learning activities per week. This is an estimation and will be different for each learner

3–5 years of experience in the industry
