Course description: Every utility needs to balance new water supplies, demand management and conservation strategies to improve operational efficiency. This course describes various surface and groundwater sources, the limits for each and the methods to find them. You will also get tools in water demand projections and demand management strategies.
This course consists of the following three modules:
Module 1: Water Demands
Module 2: Water Sources and Demands
Module 3: Water Conservation
Learning Objectives:
• Describe options for water sources (ground and surface water), including limitations for each.
• Explain the factors that affect demand projections both currently and in the future.
• Defend demand management strategies.
