Basic Supervision (EL149)
Course Length: 5 Hour / 0.5 CEU*
Course Description: What is supervision? It seems like a simple question, but the supervisory role has many facets, and some can be elusive. The course begins with a look at basic supervision, what it is and why it is necessary. There is a focus on the roles of the supervisor, and the decision to become a supervisor is reviewed. The course also reviews supervisory functions, with a look at planning, organizing, and making decisions.
This course consists of the following three modules:
Module 1: Management and Supervision I
Module 2: Management and Supervision II
Module 3: Management and Supervision III
Learning Objectives:
