This standard describes the critical requirements for the effective operation and management of drinking water distribution systems. Major changes made to the standard in this revision include the following: added requirements for valve-exercising program and hydrant maintenance program; clarified flow requirements and corrective action plan; and, added Self-Assessment and Internal Auditing requirements.
