Establishing Leadership in the Organization (EL156)
Course Length: 5 Hours/0.5 CEUs*
Course Description: For an organization to move forward, it must have good leaders, but too often exactly what leadership is may be unclear and leadership may change in the approach with time. Organizations that are to be leaders in their communities need to construct the organization in a manner that will encourage leadership. This course will outline what leadership is, how it is manifested, and how leaders help their organization. Tools and techniques will be outlined.
This course consists of the following three modules:
Module 1: Organizing the Utility
Module 2: Leadership I
Module 3: Leadership II
Learning Objectives:
• Describe what effective leadership is.
• Explain the responsibilities of organizational leadership.
• Apply best practices in management to help you better lead your organizations.
